John Tucker Must Die is one of those movies that I have to watch every time it’s on TV. That’s weird because I own the DVD and can watch it whenever I want to. It has everything you can ask for in a teen rom-com. There’s eye candy (Penn Badgley, Jesse Metcalfe, and a brief appearance by Taylor “Tim Riggins” Kitsch), girl power, and revenge. Girls can enjoy Mr. Metcalfe half-naked, and boys can enjoy a Sophia Bush/Brittany Snow kiss. There really is something for everyone in this movie.

But none of that matters. What does matter is that the four female leads of this movie drink a lot of Diet Coke. There are a few scenes that feature Brittany Snow, Sophia Bush, Arielle Kebbel, and Ashanti having girl talk while downing Diet Coke. I’m pretty sure all their girl power is fueled by Diet Coke, and that is more kickass than giving a guy fake herpes.
